The Vacuum Film Cost section calculates the cost based on selected inputs for two modes: Normal and Tray. The steps and fields for this section are outlined below:
Fields in the Interface #
- Product: Displays the product name and its identification code.
- Weight: Specifies the weight range of the product (e.g., 130–226 grams).
- Average Number of Pieces (AV. NO OF PC’S/KG): The average number of pieces per kilogram. This field must be entered manually.
- Average Length Per Piece (AV. LENGTH/PC): The average length of each piece. This field must also be entered manually.
- Average Cost Per Meter (AV. COST/METER): Enter the cost per meter for the vacuum film.
- Extra (%): An additional percentage to add to the calculated cost for buffer or margin.
- Average Cost Per Piece (AV. COST/PC): Automatically calculated based on the inputs.
- Average Cost Per Kilogram (AV. COST/KG): Automatically calculated based on the inputs.
- Calculate Button: Triggers the calculation for AV. COST/PC and AV. COST/KG based on the provided values.
Steps for Normal Mode #
- Select Normal tab.
- Enter the required fields:
- AV. NO OF PC’S/KG
- AV. LENGTH/PC
- AV. COST/METER
- Extra (%) (if applicable)
- Click the Calculate button to compute:
- AV. COST/PC
- AV. COST/KG
- Repeat the above steps for other products as necessary.
Steps for Tray Mode #
- Select Tray tab.
- Enter the required fields:
- AV. NO OF PC’S/KG
- AV. LENGTH/PC
- AV. COST/METER
- Extra (%) (if applicable)
- Click the Calculate button to compute:
- AV. COST/PC
- AV. COST/KG
- Repeat the above steps for other products as necessary.
Additional Notes #
- The Normal and Tray modes have the same fields and functionality but may vary depending on the operational context (e.g., different vacuum film specifications for trays vs. normal packaging).
- Calculated values are displayed in the respective columns after clicking Calculate.
