The Third Category Management System is designed to track and manage products that do not meet primary standards but are still usable. These products are categorized separately for further processing or selling to companies.
1. Overview of Third Category Process #
- Damage Entry in “Damages & Floor Pc’s”
- Users enter records for damaged products.
- If the “Third Category” option is selected in the Action Dropdown, the entry is saved in the Third Category Module.
- Third Category Record Management
- The system categorizes third-category items separately.
- These records contain essential details such as batch number, total shipment weight, and assigned category.
- Company Assignment & Selling
- Third-category products can be assigned to specific companies.
- Products can also be sold to companies through the Selling section.
2. Third Category Module Structure #
The Third Category section is divided into three main tabs:
A. Record Tab #
Stores all third-category product entries with batch and weight details.
B. Company Tab #
Manages companies that purchase third-category products.
C. Selling Tab #
Facilitates selling third-category products to companies and order generation.
3. Third Category – Record Tab #
This tab contains all third-category entries and provides an overview of available stock.
Table Columns: #
- # → Serial number of the entry.
- Batch No → Unique batch identifier for the third-category product.
- Total Shipment → The total weight of the batch before damage categorization.
- Total Third Category → The weight of the product categorized under the third category.
- Actions → Allows users to view details of a specific batch.
4. Third Category – Company Tab #
This section is used to manage companies that handle third-category products.
Key Features: #
- Add a New Company
- Users can add a new company by providing necessary details.
- Edit Company Information
- Users can modify existing company details as needed.
Company Table Columns: #
- # → Serial number of the company entry.
- Company Name → Name of the company.
- Email → Contact email of the company.
- Number → Contact number of the company.
- Tax No. → Tax identification number of the company.
- Reg. No. → Official registration number of the company.
- Address → Company’s physical location.
- Contact Person → Name of the person responsible for communication.
- Action → Allows users to edit company details.
5. Third Category – Selling Tab #
The Selling Tab enables users to sell third-category products to companies.
Selling Process: #
- Select a Company
- Users choose a company from the available list.
- Select a Batch
- A batch from the third-category record is selected.
- Enter Product Weight
- Users input the quantity of the third-category product to be sold.
- Generate Order
- Once all details are entered, users can generate an order.
Selling Table Columns: #
- # → Serial number of the sale entry.
- Company Name → The company purchasing the third-category product.
- Batch → The batch number of the product being sold.
- Product → Details of the product being sold.
- Weight → The total weight of the product assigned for sale.
- Address → The address of the purchasing company.
- Contact Person → The person handling the transaction.
- Actions →
- Print Order → Generates an invoice or order summary.
- Edit Order → Allows modification of order details.
6. Third Category Workflow Summary #
- Entry in “Damages & Floor Pc’s”
- Users select “Third Category” in the Action Dropdown.
- The system saves the entry in the Third Category Module.
- Third Category Record Management
- The product is assigned a batch and weight.
- It appears under the Record Tab for tracking.
- Company Registration
- Companies that purchase third-category products are managed in the Company Tab.
- Users can add, edit, and update company details.
- Selling Third Category Products
- Users navigate to the Selling Tab.
- They select a company, choose a batch, input weight, and generate an order.
- Orders can be printed and edited as needed.
