Steps to Manage Product Specifications: #

Viewing Existing Specifications #

1. Navigate to the Product Management module.
2. Select the Final Products section.
3. The table displays the following details:
   • Code: Unique identifier for the product specification.
   • Name: Product name derived from the Product Family.
   • Weight Spec: Specifies product weight attributes (e.g., W: 120-140 gr).
   • Freezing Spec: Indicates freezing options (e.g., IQF).
   • General Description: A summary or highlights of the product’s attributes.
   • Actions: Options include:
     • Edit: Modify the product specification.
     • Duplicate: Create a copy of the existing specification.
     • View: Preview details of the product specification.
     • Delete: Remove the specification from the system.

Adding a New Specification #

1. Click the Add Specification button to open the product specification form.
2. Configure the fields as follows:

Fields and Their Descriptions: #

Step 1: General Fields #

• Product: Select the product name from the dropdown list derived from the Product Family section.
• Actual: Select the actual product variant or sub-option (if applicable).
• Product Type: Choose between:
  • Standard: No additional fields are required.
  • Special: Requires selecting the Client for whom the specification is applicable.
• Client: Select the client for Special product types.

Step 2: Weight Specification #

• Product Weight: Enter the weight value for the product.
• Weight Unit: Choose the appropriate unit of measurement (e.g., grams, kilograms).

Step 3: Freezing Specification #

• Freezing: Choose whether the product requires freezing:
  • Yes: Enables additional fields.
  • No: Skip to the next step.
• Freezing Way: Select the freezing method:
  • If the method is Other than IQF, no additional fields are required.
  • If the method is IQF:
    • Product Glaze (%): Enter the percentage of glaze applied.
    • Glaze Option: Select the glaze option from the dropdown list.

Step 4: Description #

• Specific Description: Provide detailed technical specifications of the product.
• General Description: Add a summary or highlights of the product for general reference.

Completing the Process: #

1. After entering all required fields:
   • Click Next to proceed between sections if there are additional configuration steps.
   • Click Add Product to save the specification.
2. The system will save the details and redirect you to the product list, displaying the newly added or updated specification.
