IQF Block Packing Workflow for Sales Orders

The IQF Freezer section provides efficient management and preparation of sales orders. The workflow is structured into two sections—Open Orders and Today Orders—to distinguish between pending and current-day operations.

Open Orders and Today Orders #

Open Orders #

Displays all ongoing orders from previous dates that are not yet completed or closed.

Today Orders #

Displays sales orders scheduled for the current day.

For each sale order, the following details are displayed:

Product Details #

• Product Code: E.g., 010614/V1
• Product Name: E.g., COD ATLANTIC WILD CAUGHT PORTION
• Product Weight Range: E.g., 130-226 gr

Order Details #

• Sales Order Reference: E.g., PSO-12-24-000001
• Priority of the Sales Order: Null if not set
• Total Sales Order Quantity: E.g., 663.12 M
• Production Details:
  • Pallet Quantity: Number of pallets associated
  • Production Quantity: Total quantity in KG
  • Packing/Shipment Order Details: If applicable

Actions for Each Sales Order #

Add Pallet #

1. Packing Material Check: Confirm packing material availability under the “Packing Material” section.
2. Choose Location: Select a location (e.g., Production, Outside Packing Room) where the pallet will be prepared.
3. Assign Pallet Details: Assign a unique pallet code and specify block or box quantity.
4. Update Quantity:
   • Input pallet quantity (must be greater than 0).
   • Once a valid quantity is entered, weight update and checkout options will appear.

Close Production #

• Finalizes production for the sales order.
• Prevents adding new pallets unless the previous pallet is closed.
• Auto-close functionality activates when no open pallets remain.

Displayed Data for Each Pallet #

Each pallet displays the following details:

• Pallet Code: Unique identifier for the pallet (e.g., 070225PL020101).
• Location: Designates where the pallet is prepared (e.g., Production, Outside Packing Room).
• Boxes/Block Quantity: Number of boxes or blocks within the pallet.
• Gross Weight: Total weight including packaging.
• Net Weight: Weight of the product excluding packaging.
• Without Glaze: Weight excluding glaze material, if applicable.
• Status: Indicates whether the pallet is Open or Closed.

Actions for Pallet Management #

Available Actions #

1. Traceability: Review the source and details of the pallet.
2. Update Weight:
   • Specify gross and net weights by excluding packaging and pallet weights.
3. Checkout:
   • Finalize the pallet preparation and move it to the store.
4. Print Label: Generate a label with product and pallet details.
5. Product Label: Generate a detailed label specific to the product.
6. Packaging Details: View packaging materials used for the pallet.

Checkout Workflow #

Steps #

1. Transfers the pallet to the store.
2. Ensures all weights are updated.
3. Changes pallet status to Closed.

• Adhesive tapes, stretch films, and other supporting materials.
