1. Viewing and Managing the Currency List: #
- Navigate to the Currency List tab under the Pricing Module.
- The list will display the following columns:
- Currency Name: Name of the currency (e.g., Euro, United Arab Emirates Dirham, British Pound Sterling).
- Code: The ISO code for the currency (e.g., EUR, AED, GBP).
- Symbol: The symbol used for the currency (€ for Euro, £ for GBP, etc.).
- Exchange Rate: The conversion rate relative to the system currency.
- Updated At: The date the exchange rate was last updated.
- Actions:
- View Details: Use the eye icon to view more information.
- Edit Details: Use the pencil icon to edit the currency details.
2. Adding a New Currency: #
- Click on the Add Currency button.
- Fill in the required details:
- Currency Name: Enter the full name of the currency.
- Currency Code: Provide the ISO currency code.
- Currency Symbol: Enter the symbol used for the currency.
- Currency Conversion Rate: Define the conversion rate based on the system currency.
- After entering all fields, click Add Currency to save the new currency.
3. Editing an Existing Currency: #
- Locate the desired currency from the list.
- Click the Edit Icon (Pencil) under the Actions column.
- Modify the fields as needed (e.g., update the conversion rate or change the symbol).
- Click Save Changes to update the currency.
4. Deleting a Currency: #
- Locate the currency to delete.
- Use the delete icon (if available) under the Actions column.
- Confirm the action in the dialog box to permanently remove the currency.
5. System Currency: #
- The System Currency is indicated in the Exchange Rate column.
- This currency cannot be edited or deleted and serves as the base currency for all conversions.
Notes: #
- Always ensure the exchange rates are accurate and up to date.
- Adding or editing currencies should follow standard naming and ISO codes to avoid discrepancies.
- Use the View Details action for verifying specific configurations before making changes.
